Elastically Bonded PV Roof Installation

A total of 25’674 micromorph PV modules have been mounted on several
roof areas at a newly built logistics center south of the Italian city
of Bari. Given that the standard mechanical clip fasteners are liable to
induce high stresses in the glass, the contractor and module
manufacturer looked around for an alternative fixing method and finally
opted for an elastic yet structural bonding solution
