We’re looking for a Senior Technical Consultant SAP Integration to join our SAP Technology team in Zurich. In this strategic assignment, you'll play a critical role of developing and managing complex integration projects, while ensuring the performance, stability, and security of SAP integrations. The Senior Technical Consultant SAP Integration shall report to the SAP Integration lead and work in synergy with SAP Development and SAP Basis workstreams, as well as other SAP functional teams.

As a Senior Technical Consultant SAP Integration, you will:

  • Design, develop, and manage integration architectures using SAP Integration Suite, SAP PO/PI, API Management, and other relevant tools.

  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define integration requirements and ensure end-to-end solution consistency.

  • Ensure smooth operations of all integration interfaces and resolve complex issues in a timely manner.

  • Drive the adoption of integration best practices, security standards, and performance optimization techniques.

  • Support and mentor a other team members, providing technical guidance and reviewing deliverables.

  • Support project delivery teams in integration-related tasks throughout the system development lifecycle.

  • Heavily contribute to the cloud adoption journey of SIKA in the integration space.

  • Stay current with SAP’s latest integration technologies and trends (e.g., Event Mesh, BTP, APIs, CDS Views).

Le tue competenze ed esperienza

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 8+ years of experience with SAP integration technologies.

  • Strong hands-on experience in:

    • SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management)

    • Experience with UDFs, Java or Groovy

    • SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Orchestration)

    • Experience with OData, REST, SOAP APIs

    • Solid understanding of BTP (Business Technology Platform)

    • Event-driven architecture and event brokers (SAP event mesh, AEM is a plus)

    • Experience with IDoc, RFC, ALE, EDI and other SAP integration standards/protocols

    • Solid understanding of cloud and hybrid integration scenarios.

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

    • Fluent in English. Spanish and German are a plus.

    • SAP certification in Integration Suite or similar is a differentiator.
