Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Preventive and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Trouble shoot and problem solve to diagnose and repair faults.
  • Lubrication, belt tracking, replacing bearings, chains, belts, motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, screw conveyors and etc.
  • Planned shutdown maintenance tasks.
  • Monthly stock taking of spare parts inventory.
  • Task and job reporting in a timely manner.
  • Cleaning of equipment as per maintenance schedules.
  • Repairs to Pneumatic airlines, Hydraulic Systems and componentry.
  • Working cohesively with other trades.
  • Performing changeovers, machine adjustments and mechanical breakdowns.
  • Machining and Welding experience.

Your expertise - Our strength

To be successful within this role, you will have:

  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
  • Experience in working with PLCS and Scada (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron)
  • Have at least 5 years Post trade experience in a similar role working with production machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering and workshop drawings.
