We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Team Head SAP P2P (Plan-to-Product / Procure-to-Pay) to join our SAP Team, based in Zürich (Switzerland) 

The SAP P2P Team Lead reporting directly to the Global SAP Manager, will oversee day to day operations, ensuring leadership of all support, change and project activities. 

A unique opportunity, combining a high-end state-of-the art SAP landscape (onprem and cloud) and very dynamic business areas is waiting for you. You are responsible for the gloabal SAP P2P Team (MM/Ariba/PP-PI/IBP/PPDS/advanced ATP/QM/MES/Variant Configuration) and together with your team you will be responsible for leading, impelementing, and supporting business solutions based on latest SAP Technologies.

Role & Responsibilities 

  • You have operational and personnel leadership of a team consisting of multi-functional, globally dispersed and virtual groups (internal Functional Consultants and external Consulting Companies) and give direction to the SAP Team in the related modules 
  • You support the Global Head of SAP, Global SAP Process Owners and the Regional SAP Business Teams in roadmap planning and delivery of the SAP P2P solution in different projects
  • You run the S/4 HANA and 3rd party applications in the area of Plan-to-Product and Procure-to-Pay on a day-to-day operation
  • With your strong affinity to technology and the SAP domains you bring in new innovations (functional and technical) and identify improvement areas and take initiative to implement the same 
  • In partnership with business colleagues, you take a key role in identifying business opportunities and be responsible to deliver tangible and measurable business value aligned with stakeholder needs and priorities 
  • Accountabel for adherence to security, architectural standards, and Sika template solutions for SAP related systems, processes and services

Your expertise - Our strength

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Sciences, Business Studies or equivalent experience 
  • 6+ years Management and Leadership experience (projects, teams, and practice levels) working as a Team Head and experience working as a Project Manager in global roll-outs and business process innovation projects
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing related environment with S/4 HANA (or R/3) on modules PP-PI, MM, Ariba and QM or any related ones 
  • Functional expertise in end-to-end Production and Procurement processes and integration into other process areas 
  • Good understanding of MES systems and how to integrate to SAP S/4 Hana
  • Deep cross functional understanding in SAP Variant Configuration and Classification, integration with other systems (e.g. reporting/analytics, integration points with partners and 3rd party system and across related SAP domains) 
  • Technical SAP expertise and excellent understanding and knowledge of SAP environment, modules, architecture, and strategy and the ability to effectively operate a complex, global SAP S/4 HANA system 
  • Strong and authentic leadership personality to lead a multidisciplinary global and virtual team to define and design complex processes and procedures   
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to work closely with business counterparts to define and drive new innovations and solutions 
  • Creative and innovative thinking to take responsibility in identifying improvement areas, owning them and deliver success 
  • Collaborative team working within a large group while able to demonstrate intitative and ownership for own tasks
  • Solutions focused, anticipates potential problems and works to overcome then
  • Manufacturing industry process know-how will be an advantage 
  • Readiness to travel up to 10 - 20 % 
  • Fluent in English, German is a big advantage
