This position is responsible to provide technical sales support at the regional level to customers (contractors, architects, consultants, and building owners) with prescribed management of Design Services for the manufacturer’s representatives including, but not limited to, specification activity, specification content, roofing and waterproofing details.  The candidate needs to have excellent communication, organizational and writing skills, and knowledge about the roofing industry.  The ideal candidate would be located in the Long Island, NY area. This position will report to the Region Manager/East

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Position Sika Sarnafil as a company that provides quality products and services.
  • Sales of all Sarnafil Roofing and Waterproofing systems to meet agreed upon budget and gross margin objectives.
  • Manage and maintain local manufacturer’s representatives to ensure proper design documents.
  • Create and identify new market opportunities.
  • Responsible to oversee specification activity through Roofing Consultants, Architects, Engineers and all other influencing parties.
  • Roofing contractor account management to include bid returns, receivables, territory coverage
  • Establish and manage key owner relationships and activities within territory
  • Manage project pricing including general pricing directives
  • Box lunch seminar presentations

Your expertise - Our strength

  • Minimum of five years of sales or related experience, preferably to the owner and architectural communities
  • Understanding of the single ply roofing industry
  • Computer proficient
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding presentation abilities
  • Willing to travel via all methods of transportation.
