- CREATIVE DESIGN – Assist with creative design in the production of marketing collateral, such as ads, catalogs, tradeshow graphics, brochures, promo items, etc., using the Adobe Creative Suite. Provide general support on special promotions, such as direct mailings, tradeshows, customer receptions, seminars, etc. Act as a general resource for promotion related issues and questions. Form and maintain relationships with outside vendors to execute the above.
- PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY – Work with sales personnel to coordinate jobsite photography and/or videography for the business. Provide taping and photography assistance internally as needed. Obtain all legal releases and permissions needed to utilize the images.
- COMMUNICATION STRATEGY – Work with Concrete marketing team as well as the Decorative Concrete Team to fulfill and implement our communication and marketing strategy.
- BRANDING - Work to maintain consistent brand identity which aligns with global organization and uphold these high standards even in difficult situations. Communicate proper guidelines to the rest of the team.
- TECHNICAL/CREATIVE WRITING – Take the lead on developing all literature and website content that is both technical and creative to draw the reader in. Responsible to work with product managers and sales team to understand products as well as customer needs. Work with Director of Marketing to develop the “sales pitch” and message appropriate for target audience.
- TRADESHOWS/ASSOCIATION EVENTS – Assist the business with tradeshows and other events including developing themes/ideas for shows, coordinating personnel/graphics, booth/promotional items, etc. Help manage costs and determine ROI.
- DIGITAL MARKETING – Function as a liaison between the Sales Team & Product Marketing Managers to help promote the business through digital channels such as website properties, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, YouTube, Webinars, etc.
- SALES SUPPORT – Attend Regional Sales Meetings as necessary to better support the sales personnel. Make presentations and offer training on all new initiatives. Support the sales force on special projects such as seminars, promotional items, etc. by developing marketing collateral and providing creative input.
- INBOUND LEADS – Work with the Digital Marketing team to help filter and respond to inbound inquiries through various digital channels as well as trade events and webinars. Provide regular reports on the open/close status, successful conversion, sales opportunities and overall adherence to Sika’s Lead Management Process. Respond in a timely manner through Salesforce to customer leads that come through the website. Work with the appropriate Concrete personnel to ensure lead is processed correctly.
- LEAD STRATEGIC MARKETING ACTIVITIES – Utilize all above marketing functions to promote and improve company’s position in strategic areas (3D printing, Fibers, color, etc.). Manage initial product launch activities under the direction of department manager.
Your expertise - Our strength
- Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus or the ability and interest to learn
- Experienced in Digital Asset Management/ Content Management Systems (WordPress, Squarespace,etc.)
- Salesforce and Pardot experience or the ability and interest to learn
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) preferred
- Combination Photography / Videography and post-production skills (Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premier experience preferred)
- BA degree (Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Communications, Marketing or related field)
- Experience within the Construction industry a plus
- General knowledge of the Concrete product line and the technical requirements for those products a plus
- Strong customer focus required
- High level of ALL communication skills
- Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel 15%-25%
