Sika’s Corporate Audit department is hiring a junior Internal Auditor in Kuala Lumpur – our regional audit hub in APAC!

You enjoy interacting with people from different cultures across all levels of a global organization and travelling with your peers between 60% to 70% per year within the APAC region, occasionally also to other regions?

Our Corporate Internal Audit Team, located in the regional hub APAC in Malaysia is waiting for you to perform together with your Internal Audit colleagues 10 – 12 field audits per year.

Outline of your responsibility on a rotational Lead Auditor basis:

  • Identify and assess risks and controls for the processes in scope.
  • Contribute to the wrap-up of the field audit (review of auditees’ action plans, field work documentation, team debriefing).
  • Perform interviews, walk-throughs, sample tests and document field audit results.
  • Contribute to selective process/system audits on group level as needed (under the lead of the Corporate Internal Audit team).
  • Communicate audit results and recommendations to local management.
  • Contribute to the Internal Audit Quality Assurance Program and Knowledge Management.

Your expertise - Our strength

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance and a CIA, CPA or ACCA certification.
  • Current experience working as Auditor for an international manufacturing company, ideally in combination with External Audit experience at a Big 4.
  • Good understanding of internal control concepts and internal audit frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize and to communicate results in a clear, structured, and concise manner.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbally and in writing) in Mandarin and English. Must have experience in writing reports in English.
  • Good knowledge of MS office (Excel).
  • Experience in an SAP environment and usage of data analytics tools are an advantage.
